The Frying stone from Jensen Grill is made of Sicilian volcanic rock from Mount Etna. The structure of the lava is carefully selected to get a robust stone with the right properties in relation to absorb and distribute heat. The practical holder used to easily pick up the stone on the grill or in the oven and put on the table, without damaging the table. The Frying stone is ideal to cook marinated meat, prawns and vegetables at the table. The frying stone can also be used as a heater to keep the sauce and the like warm.
If the frying stone is laid in a cold or warm grill (oven can also be used) and heated for 20-30 min. the temperature of the stone will be between 300 and 350 degrees, and will last warm for frying for about 30 min. Should the stone be used as a hot plate, the stone can be heated in less time.
